Siddharth Jain, an emerging photographer, resides in Delhi but travels to the wonderful state of Rajasthan to satisfy his hunger for color and movement. He describes himself as a "photo enthusiast", but he is much more than that. He published his first full feature on Trekking the Himalayas in Asian Geo, and assisted the fine arts photographer Peter Steinhauer during various assignments in India.He's currently working on long term projects involving out of the mainstream Indian festivals, a subject matter after my own heart.
I chose his lovely photograph of a Rajasthani folk dancer (it might be a Kalbelia?) for its movement and color.
