Cricketer Farm Cheese - Nether Stowey Reserve Cheddar

Cricketer Farm is based on the edge of the Quantock Hills in Somerset and are master cheesemakers. The farm was established by the late Lord Beaverbrook in the 1940's and they continue to make award-winning cheeses from local milk. Many of the staff who work for Cricketer Farm have spent all of their working lives with them.

This is their first branded Cheddar cheese, Nether Stowey Reserve, and is available in Co-operative Stores. The cheese is named after the village which has been home to the dairy since it was founded over 70 years ago. Nether Stowey Reserve is made from a mature Cheddar cheese specially selected for its delicious, smooth, rich flavour.

Cricketer Farm cheeses are available in independent shops in Somerset and in Asda, The Co-operative, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Lidl nationwide.

I made a small cheese board, for a late Saturday afternoon lunch, and the cheese 'hit the spot' according to my husband, and I had to agree with him.

Thank you Cricketer Farm and James.
